I didn't get into this work to make people look different. I got into it to help them feel more like the best version of themselves on the most documented day of their lives.

Over 14 years behind the chair — including five years as a certified MAC Cosmetics artist and years of continued education with some of the most respected names in the industry — that belief hasn't changed. What has changed is the depth of my craft and my conviction that a beautiful wedding morning is one that runs with intention, not chaos.

I'm Kristine, the owner and lead artist behind Kelse Artistry. Based in downtown Chicago, I specialize in soft-glam, natural-luxe bridal hair and makeup for modern brides , and I serve brides of every skin tone, background, and aesthetic.

What sets Kelse Artistry apart is simple: I do both. While most Chicago artists specialize in hair or makeup, I offer a fully unified bridal beauty experience, which means your look is cohesive, your morning is streamlined, and you're working with one artist who holds your vision from the very first preview appointment.

My foundation was built at MAC Cosmetics, where I was formally trained and certified, and I've continued that education through masterclasses with some of the industry's most recognized artists, including Mario Dedivanovic, Kasia Fortuna and Tonya Ilchenko. Whether your vision is soft and romantic, bold and editorial, or something deeply rooted in your cultural tradition, I bring the technical range to execute it beautifully.

Hair

While the main focus of my services is makeup, I do occasionally do hair as well. Depending on the size of your booking/group, I may be able to accomodate you for your hair styling needs. My hairstyles focuses more on romantic and effortless looking hairdos.
